Deep Ocean Wings Challenge

I have been doing some colouring lessons these past couple of months and have been making some cards to showcase my new colouring skills so this past week or so I have been putting together a card for the Deep Ocean Challenge Blog where this fortnights challenge is to use wings and I thought what better way than to showcase a wedding card with butterfly accents.

Here is my challenge entry

I have used The Greeting Farms Wedding Topper Kiss on this card, they are coloured using Copic Markers. The card is decorated using Maja Design Papers, Lace, WOC Flowers, Love Metal Heart, Doily and Pearl Trim.

Dlish Scraps March Challenge

Hi everyone, I am very late with my challenge posting this month and my first month of all things :( Anyway I finally got here after being away and then coming home to no internet.

Ok I have news, I have been accepted onto the Dlish Scraps Creative team for the Autumn season. The challenge this month was to use the mood board and colours and interpret it onto a page.

The mood board this month is tropical twist.

And my take on the challenge.
I have taken most of my inspiration from the bottom left streamer photo with the ombre colour effect and transfered that onto my page by cutting out a circle background with my Silhouette and filling each circle with something different and having the ombre colours across the page.

For this page i have used the following dlish products
Lace Buttons, Chevron bags (Orange & Pink), Rhinestones, Resin Retro dot buttons and Forget Me Nots (Pink, Orange & Yellow).
I have also used papers and a few other embellishments from my stash.

D-Lish Scraps January Challenge

Hi I am back again with another challenge page. This time it is for D-Lish Scraps January Mood Board Lilac Haze.

Here is my take on the challenge.
I have taken inspiration from the straws image and loosely followed the sketch. As i didn't have any straws to use I cut some strips from a Kaiser 6x6 paper pad and a couple of 12x12 papers and lined them up as a photo mat behind the photo.

I then worked from the sketch placing my embellishments in a diagonal across the page and using the ink splatters in place of the circles. The embellishments are from Crate Paper the Pier collection, D-Lish Scraps, Studio Calico and Freckled Fawn.

I really love the way this page has turned out. Thankyou for reading,
